Introduction

Gilles Desrozier is born in Paris, in November 15th 1963.

Gilles Desrozier asserts himself as true poet of contemporary time. Not only by his subjects, but also by his way of  breaking the definition of what poetry means. Where the rational stumbles, since the space metamorphoses till the visional paradox, appears the poetica, so do intangibility, seizing, incongruity, irony, and grotesquery.

Evidently, he does not settle for rerouting the perception amount of simple and appointed exercises, he tackles himself to enchant it as well. His science of composition and his sense of chromatic agreement create an ocular galvanic excitement. His work, in fact, is a world within itself from the meeting among different realities. By himself, he expresses how the series Inscape proceed with a personal experience and a fantasy of childhood where the image of forest absorbed it, physically and psychologically, within the same forest. In turn, Desrozier guides us to his inner universe.

What still needs to be descripted as follows: He sets himself in a voiceless but tenacious competition between architecture and nature, nothing of ecological or environmental sanctimony inside. It is more certainly about the image of tension. The work of Desrozier holds a meticulous plastic, from a perfect fastidiousness, without which people would not believe what they see, although he allows the conflicts and accidents to confront with the antithetic poles: the wall and the perspective, inside and outside, above and below, lively and inert, life and dead, and dream and materials. Thus, the myths are born. The encounter of two spheres  it was in olden days those of man and of gods. There would be nothing but only to listen, with a gaze.
